This division shall consist of the following units:

Procurement Unit

  • Commence the annual procurement plan;
  • Provide guidance, oversee the procurement function, and monitor procurement activities at the RBPHQ and the Divisions to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and the Manual;
  • Oversee the sourcing, bidding, and procurement activities for goods and services across all commodities and lease space;
  • Develop and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Procure vehicles, spare parts, uniforms, stationery, furniture, and other equipment, as well as any other procurement-related tasks, in accordance with Procurement Rules Regulations;
  • Examine and accept the purchased items; confirm the invoices and pass the items to the store unit;
  • Ensure that the quality of the procured items meets the approved standards samples; and
  • Carry out any other assigned task.

Property and Stores Unit

  • Ensure the maintenance of the stock inventory for uniforms, rations, stationery, furniture, and other equipment of the organisation;
  • Ensure the proper storage and safety of government property.
  • Surrender the unserviceable items to the Department of Procurement and Properties;
  • Ensure proper stock chain management;
  • Maintain inventory of land, buildings and any other infrastructures of the Organization; and
  • Carry out any other assigned task.

Arms and Ammunitions Unit

  • Ensure the safe storage of arms and ammunition; Determine the arms and ammunition requirements for the organization;
  • Issue arms and ammunition as per the order;
  • Backload empty fired cases, unserviceable firearms, and ammunition.
  • Maintain an accurate ledger for the receipt and issue of all arms, ammunition, accessories, and spare parts;
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on all arms;
  • Maintain secure custody of the seized and confiscated arms and ammunition; and
  • Carry out any other assigned task.
