FIELD DIVISIONS
The Paro Division (Division-I) has its headquater based at Paro Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage include Haa Dzongkhag and Paro Dzongkhag with Haa Police station, Paro police station and Paro International Airport police.
The Punakha Division (Division-II) has its headquater based at Punakha Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage include Punakha and Gasa Dzongkhag with Punakha Police station and Gasa Police station.
The Phuentsholing Division (Division-II) has its headquater based at Phuentsholing Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage include Phuentsholing Dzongkhag with Phuentsholing Police station.
The Samtse Division (Division-IV) has its headquater based at Samtse Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage include the whole Samtse Dzongkhag with Changmari Police station, Sipsu Police station, Gomtu Police station, Dorokha Police station, Bindu outpost, Jitti checkpost, Pugli border checkpost, Samtse border checkpost and Gomtu border check post.
The Gelephu Division (Division-V) has its headquater based at Gelephu Dungkhag under Sarpang Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage include Sarpang and Zhemgang Dzongkhags with Gelephu police station, Sarpang police station, Zhemgang police station, Panbang police station, Hilley checkpost, Gelephu border check post, Tingtibi checkpost and Lodrai District jail.
The Tsirang Division (Division-VI) has its headquater based at Tsirang Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage include Tsirang and Dagana Dzongkhags with Tsirang police station, Dagana police stion, Dagapela outpost, Wakleytar checkpost and Sunkosh checkpost.
The Trongsa Division (Division-VII) has its headquater based at Trongsa Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage include Trongsa and Bumthang Dzongkhags with Trongsa Police station, Bumthang police station and Bjizam checkpost.
The Samdrup Jongkhar Division (Division-VIII) has its headquater based at Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage include Samdrup Jongkhar and Pemagatshel Dzongkhags with Samdrup Jongkhar police station, Pemagatshel police station, Ngalam police station, Jomotshangkha police stion, Pintsina checkpost, Narphung checkpost, Samdrup Jongkhar border checkpost and Ngalam border checkpost.
The Trashigang Division (Division-IX) has its headquater based at Trashigang Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage includes Trashigang and Trashiyangtse Dzongkhags with Trashigang police station, Trashiyangtse police station, Wamrong police station, Dukti outpost, Jangphu outpost, Sakten outpost, Doksum outpost, Thrimshing outpost, Chazam checkpost and Nungzor Central jail.
The Mongar Division (Division-X) has its headquater based at Mongar Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage includes Mongar and Lhuntse Dzongkhags with Mongar police station, Lhuntse police station, Gyelposhing police station and Weringla outpost.
The Thimphu Division (Division-XI) has its headquater based at Thimphu Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage includes the whole Thimphu Dzongkhag with City police station, Rural police station, Women and child protection unit, Narcotic Drugs Law Enforcement Unit, Taba outpost, Chanjiji outpost, Changzamtog outpost, Babesa outpost and Chuzom checkpost.
The Wangdue Division (Division-XII) newly opened on 25 October 2010 has its headquater based at Wangdue Dzongkhag. Its jurisdiction coverage include Wangdue Dzongkhag with Wangdue Police station.
The Royal Bhutan Police opened its new division office (Division XIII) in Chamkhar, Bumthang on 27 March 2014. With creation of new Division, RBP now has 13 Division in country. Its jurisdiction coverage include whole Bumthang Dzongkhag with Bumthang Police station.
