Deputy Chief of Police, Investigation Bureau

The DCOP, IB, shall serve as the head of the Intelligence Bureau and will assist and support the Chief of Police in the development of plans and strategies for intelligence gathering and analysis. He shall be aided by the senior superintendents or superintendent of police within the division under his command.

The Intelligence Bureau shall carry out intelligence operations, analyses, collaboration, and coordination with other relevant agencies to exchange intelligence, resources, and technology. It shall conduct threat assessments and counterintelligence, ensure confidentiality and security of information, and provide proper reporting and briefings.
