Our Values

A Police Personnel shall not:

 

  • Be eligible to run as a candidate in any election under the electoral laws of Bhutan or hold any official or unofficial role within a political party.
  • Canvass or actively campaign for any political party or candidate involved in national elections.
  • Participate in or promote corrupt practices that compromise the integrity of the Royal Bhutan Police.
  • Join, be affiliated with, or take part in any society, assembly, or organization unless authorized by the established rules and regulations.
  • Instigate, partake in, or support strikes, demonstrations, or protests that may disrupt public order or the lawful functions of the police force.
  • Engage in proselytization or any activities promoting religious or ideological views during official duties.
  • Participate in actions constituting sexual harassment or discrimination.
  • Act against the interest of Tsa-Wa-Sum (the King, Country, and People of Bhutan).
