
“Six-Day Search and Rescue Training Program Initiated for RBP and Desuups”
In response to previous Search and Rescue (SAR) incidents and the necessity for continuous practical training, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Colonel Namgay, has instituted a six-day training program focused on SAR Operations. Lieutenant Pema Dorji, a specialist in SAR operations, will also offer his expertise during the program training.
The training program shall encompass 18 participants, comprising 13 personnel from the Royal Bhutan Police (RBP) and 5 Dessups.
