This division shall consist of the following units:
Transport Unit
- Compile and present the motor vehicle requirements for the organisation;
- Responsible for the management of motor transport within the organisation;
- Detail vehicles for transfer, official tours, and other legitimate duties;
- Ensure the safety and roadworthiness of the vehicles in the organisation;
- Keep records of all drivers and vehicles within the organisation;
- Keep the accounting records for POL;
- Surrender unusable vehicles to the Department of Procurement and Properties;
- Propose the requirement for drivers;
- Forward the list for the issuance of RBP driving licences upon completion of their training; and
- Carry out any other assigned task.
Mechanical Unit
- Keep a history record for each vehicle to ensure timely maintenance and repairs;
- Furnish the garage with high-quality equipment and tools for repairs and maintenance;
- Examine and assess the condition of vehicles;
- Submit the inspection report to the Division for further action; and
- Carry out any other assigned task.
Spare Parts Unit
- Maintain updated financial accounting records for spare parts for easy reference;
- Request for spare parts for repair and maintenance;
- Keep a record of all spare parts;
- Prepare bills, invoices, and vouchers for spare parts for subsequent payment; and
- Carry out any other assigned task.
