Lost and Found: A Heartwarming Act of Honesty
The Royal Bhutan Police commends the exemplary honesty and civic sense displayed by Mr. Tsheringla, a taxi driver from Khasadrapchu, Thimphu.
On receiving a complaint from Ms. Tshering Dema who reported the loss of her gold chain with a Guru Rinpoche pendant at the Lower Market while paying a taxi fare, the police promptly initiated follow-up procedures.
Soon after, Mr. Tsheringla found the lost item on the roadside and, without hesitation, reported it to the police. Thanks to his integrity and timely action, the gold chain and pendant were safely returned to the rightful owner in the presence of a witness.
The Royal Bhutan Police sincerely appreciates Mr. Tsheringla’s commendable act, which reflects the true values of trust, honesty, and responsibility that strengthen our society.
