The Royal Bhutan Police today inaugurated its new Division and Police Station building in Trashiyangtse today.
The facility was constructed with financial assistance of Nu. 32.647 million provided by the Government of India.
The new building replaces a previously rented office space that had long faced limitations in terms of space and operational efficiency for police personnel.
The upgraded facility is expected to significantly improve working conditions and strengthen service delivery to the public.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Trashiyangtse Dzongda and the Deputy Chief of Police,and was attended by local leaders, dzongkhag officials, and other distinguished guests.
