The Chief of Police of the Royal Bhutan Police and the Commissioner of Police of the Singapore Police Force held a bilateral meeting today to discuss ways to further enhance partnership between the two organisations.

The meeting covered areas of mutual cooperation, including the use of digital technology, cybercrime, forensics, community policing, and capacity development.

The Chief of Police highlighted Bhutan’s initiatives to advance policing by leveraging technology through the integration of AI and CCTV systems despite limited resources, and commended Singapore’s progressive policing model and its willingness to extend technical cooperation.

Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening institutional collaboration and working towards building a more professional, innovative, and future-ready police force.
