PUBLIC ADVISORY
To ensure the safety of travelers heading towards Thimphu to attend the upcoming national events such as Moenlam Chenmo, Kalachakra and Jabji Dechog, the Royal Bhutan Police (RBP) will be deploying traffic personnel at various locations across the country. This initiative aims to assist travelers and ensure smooth and safe travel.
All vehicle registration numbers will be recorded to help monitor and ensure that vehicles reach their destinations safely.
The RBP traffic personnel will:
• Guide commuters and provide assistance in case of emergencies,
• Share real-time updates on road and traffic conditions,
• Advise travelers to drive carefully and responsibly,
• Ensure that all drivers possess valid driving licenses, and
• Prevent driving under the influence of alcohol.
All travelers and drivers are kindly requested to extend their full cooperation to the traffic personnel for a safe and pleasant journey.
