The Opening Ceremony of the 57th Batch of Magsars has commenced at the Royal Bhutan Police Training Institute in Jigmeling.
The opening ceremony for the 57th cohort of Magsars took place on April 16, 2025, at RBPTI, Jigmeling, signifying the official commencement of their training journey. The Commandant of the training institute extended a warm welcome to the new recruits and underscored the significance of discipline, integrity, and service in their prospective roles.
A total of 303 trainees, consisting of 204 males and 99 females, have been enlisted in this cohort. The trainees will participate in a specialized program designed exclusively for the GMC. This newly developed curriculum aims to transform them into a highly competent, professional, and well-trained workforce.
The comprehensive training schedule encompasses a five-month basic training course that concentrates on foundational skills, succeeded by a two-month specialization phase, and culminating in a one-month intensive preparation period for the Passing Out Parade.
