A team from the Tsirang Police Station, consisting of personnel from the Crime and Traffic, undertook a Mobile Community Policing initiative across five chiwogs within Phuntenchu Gewog, Tsirang, over six days, specifically from March 8, 2025, to March 13, 2025. The primary focus of this initiative was on the following key areas objectives:
- Enhancing goodwill and cultivating closer relationships between the citizenry and the Royal Bhutan Police to collaboratively strive toward attaining the Royal Bhutan Police’s objectives and vision.
- Augmenting the presence of law enforcement, reinforcing societal order, and promoting community engagement in crime prevention prevention.
- Enhancing constructive engagements between law enforcement personnel and community members.
- Fostering trust and collaboration between law enforcement agencies and the local community.
- Mitigating criminal activities and fostering a sustainable partnership with the community members.
- Mitigating grievances directed at law enforcement agencies while promoting increased reporting of incidents and crimes.
- Reiterating the fundamental responsibilities of individuals as citizens of Bhutan.
