Weekly Highway Patrol Operation: Crackdown on Unsafe Overtaking and Reckless Driving
The Traffic Division wishes to inform the public that during the second week of August, in addition to overseeing all traffic violations, there will be rigorous enforcement against unsafe overtaking and reckless driving for a duration of seven (7) days.
This specialised operation will be carried out on a weekly basis, targeting different infractions by the Highway Flying Squad, which is equipped with mobile cameras mounted on motorbikes, police vehicles, and private automobiles.
Furthermore, additional personnel will be deployed to enhance the monitoring of these specific offences, alongside the enforcement of all other traffic regulations.
All motorists are kindly requested to comply with all traffic laws at all times.
