The Royal Bhutan Police successfully conducted a Sensitization Program for RBA personnel and their families at the Military Training Centre (MTC) in Wangdue on January 3rd, 2025. The program, led by the Deputy Chief of Police (DCOP), Crime and Operations Division (COD), lasted from 1100 to 1315 hours.

Key Topics Covered:

The sensitization talk aimed to raise awareness and educate attendees on various critical topics including:

  • Common crime and drug trends
  • Youth-related crimes and issues
  • Social media and cyber-related crimes/issues
  • Suicide-related issues and prevention
  • The importance of good parenting in preventing crime
  • Fire hazards within the camp
  • General issues within the camp

Participation:

The program saw an impressive turnout, boasting a total of 444 participants, classified as follows:

  • 56 officers
  • 130 personnel
  • 42 spouses
  • 40 children
  • 176 recruits

This initiative highlights the Royal Bhutan Police’s dedication to cultivating a safe and well-informed community within the RBA camps, tackling crucial issues and promoting preventive measures for the benefit of everyone.
