RBP Concludes Advanced Document Examination Training .
The Royal Bhutan Police (RBP), in collaboration with the Office of the Austrian Honorary Consul, Thimphu, successfully concluded a three-day Advanced Document Security and Examination Training at the RBP Headquarters from 24–26 September 2025.
Building on the success of the first training held in April 2025, this second program was led by Austrian document expert Mr. Markus Senfter, who voluntarily shared his expertise and was attended by 15 officers from various divisions across the country.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Deputy Chief of Police (COD) RBP HQs and officials from the Consulate Office of Austria in Bhutan.
The training enhanced RBP’s capacity in document authentication, adoption of international best practices and fraud prevention, while also strengthening investigations and mitigating cross-border crimes. With the successful completion of this program, RBP officers are now better equipped to safeguard Bhutan’s security systems and uphold the integrity of law enforcement.
