The ICP MD will have five regional units along the southern borders to ensure efficient border control over the movement of goods, people, and vehicles.
- To function as a unified authority for border control and check post-management at ICPs.
- To execute the delegated authority concerning the operational and enforcement functions of law enforcement agencies regarding the movement of goods and people vehicles;
- Supervise the administrative management, command, and control of the field units under the division;
- Collaborate closely with the Field Divisions regarding crime, law, and order in the respective area jurisdictions;
- Monitor, supervise, and coordinate the activities of ICPs, BCPs, and CPs on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis reports;
- Engage, coordinate, and collaborate with the headquarters of law enforcement agencies to ensure effective and efficient public service delivery at ICP/BCP/CPs;
- Maintain accurate records and data management;
- Prescribe and issue administrative instructions and specific roles and responsibilities to the field units as needed; and
- Carry out any other assigned task.
