“From Redemption to Craftsmanship: Shaping Lives Through Reform and Skill Development”
The Prison Service Division of the Royal Bhutan Police is dedicated to transforming lives through skill development and rehabilitation. By equipping inmates with practical vocational skills, we aim to support their reintegration into society, promote decriminalization, and reduce recidivism.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) for offering us the opportunity to participate in the upcoming Trade Fair for Bhutanese Products, scheduled to be held at the Clock Tower Square, Thimphu, from 20 – 22 June 2025.
This event provides a meaningful platform for the Prison Service Division to exhibit handcrafted products made by inmates—each piece a testament to the potential for learning, transformation, and renewal when individuals are given the right environment and encouragement.
We also wish to express our deep appreciation to the Pema Secretariat and the Department of Skilling, Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) for their continued partnership and support in delivering vocational training across various trades within the prison system.
We cordially invite the general public to visit our stall at the Clock Tower Square from 20 -22 June 2025. Your presence and support will go a long way in encouraging and motivating inmates as they journey toward personal growth and positive reintegration into society.
