- Devise and execute community policing strategies;
- Develop and execute crime prevention programmes;
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to secure funding for implementing crime prevention programmes;
- Assist and support the Field Divisions in carrying out Crime Prevention Activities.
- Collect and compile Crime Prevention reports;
- Maintain records and profiles of suicide cases in the country;
- Study, gather feedback, and assess crime prevention strategies; and
- Carry out any other assigned tasks.
