DESCRIPTION:In a proactive effort to safeguard against chorten vandalism wi
 thin Division X in Mongar and Lhuentse Dzongkhags\, the Superintendent of 
 Police (SP) initiated an initiative to prevent such vandalism at this year
 's commencement. This initiative comprises weekly foot patrols conducted b
 y personnel\, concentrating on areas with many chortens. Furthermore\, the
 se patrols are coordinated with local communities\, which actively report 
 suspicious activities and collaborate with law enforcement to raise awaren
 ess among their neighbours regarding the significance of preserving these 
 sacred structures.
